County Tech School, Located In Secaucus, Holds Job Fair May 12

Over 50 vendors, including trade programs, are expected to attend. Job seekers should bring their resume and be prepared to do interviews.

SECAUCUS, N.J. — The Hudson County Schools of Technology will be hosting a job fair next Wednesday, May 12 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Frank J. Gargiulo Campus in Secaucus.

This will be the second job fair since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic., following November’s overwhelming successful event that drew over 300 individuals, said Hudson County.

The county is helping to organize this job fair with the Hudson County One-Stop Career Development Center.

Over 50 vendors, including trade programs, from across the region are expected to attend. Job seekers should bring 5 to 10 copies of their resume with them and be prepared to interview on the spot.

Attendees must pre-register online or at the gate and are reminded that masks will be required and social distancing regulations will be strictly enforced.

The job fair will be held at 1 High Tech Way in Secaucus, next to Laurel Hill Park. Additionally, free transportation will be provided to the event from Jersey City and Union City. Busses will begin leaving from County Prep High School, 525 Montgomery Street in Jersey City (Lot 3), the Jersey City Employment and Training building, 398 Martin Luther King Drive, and the Hudson County One Stop, corner of 48th Street and Kennedy Boulevard in Union City. Bus service will begin running at 4:30 and run every 30 minutes.
