Deer Falls Into Pool In Secaucus
A deer had to be rescued by the volunteer Secaucus fire department after it fell into a homeowner's pool Saturday, Nov. 11 in the North End.

SECAUCUS, NJ — A deer had to be rescued by the volunteer Secaucus fire department after it fell into a homeowner's pool over the weekend.
This incident happened Saturday, Nov. 11 in the North End section of Secaucus, Mayor Mike Gonnelli told Patch. The deer was cold, but otherwise uninjured and in good condition; the animal was released back into the meadows that surround the North End. There are many wild deer in the Meadowlands around that part of town, and their numbers are increasing, Mayor Gonnelli said. The deer was a buck with sizeable antlers.
