Enter The Secaucus Photo Scavenger Hunt This Friday, June 4
Take part in the first-ever Secaucus Photo Scavenger Hunt, which starts Friday and runs through June 6. Find 12 objects hidden in town.
SECAUCUS, NJ — The town of Secaucus has an interesting history: A 2007 documentary "Snake Hill" revealed a dark secret involving thousands of people in what is presently Laurel Hill Park. A resident once ran for president of the U.S.
To that end, Don Evanson, publisher of the well-read Secaucus Spectator, is organizing the first-ever Secaucus Photo Scavenger Hunt, which will start June 4 and run through June 6. Players get 12 photos via e-mail, and must roam the town to locate the items. Once found, they send a photo, which is time-recorded. The player or team with the most correct and earliest collects all entry fees, which is $10 per player.
"It is a fun way to learn about Secaucus," said Evanson.
