KEARNY, NJ — A Kearny convenience/liquor store sold a $50,000-winning lottery ticket this week, the NJ State Lottery announced.

The winning ticket was purchased at Sun Liquors and Grocery on Kearny Avenue in Kearny.

That ticket matched the four white balls and the Powerball drawn, winning the $50,000 third-place prize. A winner has not yet been identified.

The winning numbers for Wednesday night’s drawing were 9, 12, 15, 31 and 60. The Red Power Ball was 2, and the Multiplier was 2. The Powerball jackpot resets to $40 million for the next drawing, which will be held Saturday.

Additionally, one exceptionally lucky person won the $396.9 million Powerball jackpot from Wednesday's drawing; that ticket was purchased in Florida.
