Meadowlands Parkway In Secaucus Will Be Repaved
The entire length of Meadowlands Parkway will be repaved; work will probably start in spring 2019. Do you think Meadowlands Pkwy. needs it?

SECAUCUS, NJ — Secaucus was given a $2.5 million grant from the state of New Jersey Tuesday to repave Meadowlands Parkway.
The entire length of Meadowlands Parkway will be repaved, Secaucus Mayor Mike Gonnelli announced, and the work will probably commence in the early spring of 2019.
Secaucus requested the money to repave it because Gonnelli said he's gotten "many, many complaints about Meadowlands Parkway being in terrible shape, horrible shape. We asked the state for the money."

The money is coming from the state of New Jersey's "Local Freight Impact Trust Fund," which is a pool of taxpayer money set aside for local roadways that are impacted by frequent heavy-duty truck traffic.
Meadowlands Parkway perfectly fits the bill, Gonnelli said. Expect more news on road closures when the repaving begins. Do you think Meadowlands Parkway needs to be repaved?
