Remote Information for Board Meeting on Thursday, November 19, 2020

The Public may observe and participate in the meeting only via the methods listed below. The meeting is scheduled to begin at 4:00 p.m. Please note that the Board of Education will not be physically present at the Multipurpose Room, Huber Street School, 1520 Paterson Plank Road, Secaucus, New Jersey. The Board will open to the public at 4:00 p.m. and then move to closed session. The meeting will reopen to the public at 5:30 p.m. for discussion and action on the Meeting Agenda. The Meeting Agenda will be available on the District’s website at www.sboe.org.

Attendees who join the meeting via their computer and/or handheld device will have the ability to:

• Listen to and view the public Board meeting.
• Comment. The Board will open the meeting twice to the public. If you wish to make a comment, you may virtually “raise your hand” by accessing that feature on Zoom. The moderator will acknowledge your request and grant you permission to unmute your microphone at an appropriate time. Each participant will be limited to three minutes. Guidance regarding public participation at the Board meeting can be found under Policy 0167, which can be accessed on the District’s website.

Attendees who call in:

• Use the call in telephone number, Meeting ID and password listed above.
• Enter the Meeting ID number followed by #
• Enter the Password if requested followed by #
• Enter # again to skip the Participant ID.
• Will have the ability to listen to the public Board meeting.
• Can comment. The Board will set aside a portion of the meeting for the public. At this time, if you wish to make a comment, you can virtually “raise your hand” to address the Board by dialing *9. The moderator will acknowledge your request and unmute your call at an appropriate time. Each participant will be limited to five minutes. Guidance regarding public participation at the Board meeting can be found under Policy 0167, which can be accessed on the District’s website.
