Secaucus Board Of Education Election Results

SECAUCUS, NJ — Kathy O'Connell, Jack McStowe and Jayesh Patel were elected to the Secaucus Board of Education Tuesday night.

O'Connell and McStowe already sit on the board and sought re-election. Patel is a newcomer. He owns the Kiddie Academy daycare in town.

The race results are:

Kathy O'Connell 30.68% 1,135 votes

Jack A. McStowe 26.20% 969 votes

Jayesh Patel 21.55% 797 votes

George A. Rubsam 10.95% 405 votes

Deepa Khiani Ramchandani 10.38% 384 votes

These are the unofficial vote tallies. Mail-in ballots still need to be counted. 3,699 people voted in Secaucus on Tuesday.
