Secaucus Man Wins At National Auto Event

SECAUCUS, NJ — A Secaucus resident won “Best in Show” at the 20th annual Swedish Car Day event held at the Larz Anderson Auto Museum in Massachusetts this past weekend.

Almost 300 cars registered for the national event hoping to win, and Joseph Rizzolo from Secaucus won Saab Best in Show with his 2004 Saab 9-3 Aero.

Now in its 20th year, this iconic event for Saab and Volvo aficionados has grown from humble beginnings to a national event. The lawn was packed with guests excited to see the more than 275 cars from up and down the East Coast registered in hopes of winning “Best in Show.”

Boston Volvo Cars and Danvers Volvo Cars, part of Ray Ciccolo’s Village Automotive Group, hosted Swedish Car Day at the Larz Anderson Auto Museum in Brookline, MA on Sunday, August 25.

In the museum, Anthony Morano of Volvo Cars North American showcased the new 2020 Volvo V60 Cross Country, a new crossover vehicle combining sport with SUV.

The charity raffle raised more than $18,000 to support the Saab Heritage Museum in Sturgis, South Dakota.
