Secaucus Medical Marijuana Facility Now Hiring

Harmony will hold a job fair Feb. 11 and 13 at the Secaucus Community Center. They are hiring cashiers, quality control and 'bud techs.'

SECAUCUS, NJ — Do you like pot? If so, you're in luck because the medical marijuana dispensary in Secaucus is hiring.

On two different dates in February, Harmony will be holding a job fair. They say they are looking to hire for positions as a cashier, front desk, something called a "bud tech" (marijuana grower) and quality control.

Dates: Tuesday, February 11 and Thursday, February 13

It will go from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. both days. Both job fairs will be held at the Secaucus Community Center 145 Front Street Secaucus, NJ 07094

Harmony, located at 600 Meadowlands Parkway in Secaucus, opened in June 2018 after five years of red tape and delays. At the time of their opening, they were the sixth — and final — medical marijuana dispensary in the state. However, as Gov. Phil Murphy significantly expands access to medical marijuana, more dispensaries have requested permits and will likely soon open.

In fact, just today, Murphy was awarded an A- grade from the marijuana advocacy group National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws (NORML).

Currently, here's where New Jersey's six medical marijuana shops are located: Secaucus, Montclair, Egg Harbor, Woodbridge, Cranbury and Bellmawr. In December, a seventh medical marijuana dispensary got the green light to open in Paterson, but they are not open for business yet.
