Secaucus NJ Transit Riders Bombarded With Pumpkins On 1st Day Of Fall
With 4,000 pumpkins in hand, a tourism delegation from Pennsylvania paid an unexpected visit to one of NJ Transit's busiest stations.

HUDSON COUNTY, NJ — A visiting delegation of Bucks County boosters from Pennsylvania paid an unexpected visit to one of NJ Transit’s busiest stations on the first day of autumn. And they brought presents: more than 4,000 miniature pumpkins.
Visit Bucks County (VBC), the official tourism promotion agency of Bucks County, Pennsylvania, paid their Jersey neighbors a social call at the Secaucus NJ Transit station on Friday, bringing thousands of free mini pumpkins to hand out to the more than 10,000 commuters that pass through the busy terminal every day.
Passersby at the station on Friday got a chance to win prizes to attractions like the Bucks County Playhouse and Sesame Place, or a gas gift card (proving it only takes one tank to get to Bucks County from Secaucus) by discovering a sticker on the bottom of their pumpkin.
