Secaucus Police Blotter, April 12 - April 18
Police said they arrested a man with cocaine and heroin in his car last Wednesday at the Red Roof Inn.
SECAUCUS, NJ — Released by Secaucus Police, and unedited by Patch, all of last week's arrests:
On April 14 at 12:28 p.m., while on patrol, Secaucus Police observed a suspicious vehicle parked in the parking lot of the Red Roof Inn located at 15 Meadowlands Parkway. During the investigation, police arrested a 31-year-old male, Alexander Mattila of Minneapolis, MN for Possession of CDS believed to be Heroin [2C:35-10A(1)] and Possession of CDS believed to be Cocaine [2C:35-10A(1)]. Mattila was served his complaint summons and he was released from police custody.
On April 15 at 10:22 a.m., Secaucus Police responded to UPS located at 493 County Avenue on a report of a theft. During the investigation, the police arrested a 20-year-old male, Christopher Dasilva of Union, NJ for Theft [2C:20-3A]. Dasilva was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody.

On April 17 at 12:13 a.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 23-year-old male, Demetri Dominick of Jersey City, NJ for one outstanding warrant issued out of Mountainside, NJ in the amount of $500 and one outstanding warrant issued out of Jersey City, NJ in the amount of $100. Dominick was also charged with Hindering Apprehension [2C:29-3B(4)] for providing law enforcement with false information. Dominick was able to post bail for the involved warrants, was issued his complaint summons along with five motor vehicle summonses and he was released from police custody.
These charges are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
