SECAUCUS, NJ — Released by Secaucus Police and unedited by Patch, all of last week's arrests:

On April 19 at 1:53 a.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 58-year-old male, Marvin Lara of Union City, NJ for Driving While Intoxicated [39:4-50]. Lara was issued his motor vehicle summons for Driving While Intoxicated along with five additional motor vehicle summonses and was released into the custody of a responsible adult.

On April 20 at 1:43 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to UPS located at 493 County Avenue on a report of an employee who was possibly in possession of CDS. During the investigation, the police arrested a 35-year-old male, Erick Acosta Rodriguez of Hoboken, NJ for Possession of CDS believed to be Phencyclidine (known as PCP or "angel dust") [2C:35-10A(1)], Being Under the Influence of a CDS believed to be Phencyclidine [2C:35-10B] and Possession with intent to Distribute CDS believed to be Phencyclidine [2C:35-5B(7)]. Acosta was served his complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On April 22 at 3:32 p.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 37-year-old female, Nicole Lascano of Fairview, NJ for one outstanding warrant issued out of North Bergen, NJ in the amount of $500. Lascano was able to post bail for the involved warrant, was issued five motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.

On April 23 at 8:37 a.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 66-year-old female, Maritza Ortiz of Jersey City, NJ for one outstanding warrant issued out of Union City, NJ in the amount of $511 with a 10 percent option. Ortiz was able to post bail for the involved warrant and was released from police custody.

On April 23 at 2:50 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to the Morris County Jail to take into custody a 25-year-old male, Tajay Turner of Rockaway, NJ for one outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ for the charges of Theft of Identity [2C:21-17A(4)] and Hindering Apprehension [2C:29-3B(4)] following an incident that took place at the new Aloft Hotel located at 460 Harmon Meadow Boulevard in Secaucus on March 3 of this year. Turner was served his complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On April 23 at 11:05 p.m., officers from the NJ State Police responded to the Secaucus Police Department to transfer custody of a 30-year-old male, Bradley Estevez of East Orange, NJ for one outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus in the amount of $500. Estevez was able to post bail for the involved warrant and was released from police custody.

On April 24 at 5:07 p.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 24-year-old female, Andrea Castro of North Bergen, NJ for one outstanding warrant issued out of Bogota, NJ in the amount of $750 with a 10 percent option. Castro was able to post bail for the involved warrant, was issued three motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.

On April 24 at 5:32 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to Burlington Coat Factory located at 275 Hartz Way on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, the police arrested a 34-year-old female, Danielle Mitchell of Newark, NJ for one outstanding warrant issued out of Wyckoff, NJ in the amount of $500. Mitchell was released on her own recognizance pending a future court date and she was released from police custody.

On April 25 at 2:31 a.m., Secaucus Police responded to the area of 875 Rt. 3 east on a report of a motor vehicle crash. During the investigation, the police arrested a 19-year-old female, Dazlin Brown of Jersey City, NJ for Driving While Intoxicated [39:4-50]. Brown was issued her motor vehicle summons for Driving While Intoxicated along with an additional four motor vehicle summonses and was released into the custody of a responsible adult.

On April 25 at 9:07 a.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 26-year-old male, Joseph Erazo of Jersey City, NJ for one outstanding warrant issued out of Jersey City, NJ in the amount of $100. Erazo was able to post bail for the involved warrant, was issued two motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.

On April 25 at 2:01 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to the Red Roof Inn located at 15 Meadowlands Parkway on a report of an individual refusing to leave the hotel. During the investigation, the police arrested a 45-year-old female, Erin Curran of Portland, ME for Possession of CDS believed to be Cocaine [2C:35-10A(1)], Possession of Hypodermic Needles [2C:36-6A] and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2]. Curran was served her complaint summons and was released from police custody.

On April 25 at 8:54 p.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 35-year-old male, Jonathan Ortiz of Woodland Park, NJ for Exhibiting a False Government Document [2C:21-2.1C]. Ortiz was served his complaint summons along with five motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.

These charges are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
