Secaucus Police Blotter, May 3 - May 9
A local woman was arrested and charged with drunk driving Friday night.
SECAUCUS, NJ — Released by Secaucus Police and unedited by Patch, all of last week's arrests:
On May 3 at 7:16 a.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 25-year-old male, Joseph Thompson of New York, NY for one outstanding warrant issued out of Bordentown, NJ in the amount of $2,500 with a 10% option. Thompson was able to post bail for the involved warrant, was issued four motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.
On May 3 at 4:38 p.m., a 22-year-old male, Brian Deleon of Passaic, NJ entered Secaucus Police Headquarters where he was placed under arrested for one outstanding warrant issued out of Paramus, NJ in the amount of $1,000 and one NCIC warrant issued out of Clifton, NJ with no bail. Deleon was subsequently transported to the Clifton Police Department.

On May 5 at 9:29 a.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 50-year-old male, Jose Figueroa of the Bronx, NY for one outstanding warrant issued out of North Hunterdon, NJ in the amount of $1,084, one outstanding warrant issued out of Woodbridge, NJ in the amount of $700 and one outstanding warrant issued out of North Bergen, NJ in the amount of $164. Figueroa was able to post bail for the involved warrants, was issued one motor vehicle summons and was released from police custody.
On May 7 at 4:04 p.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 32-year-old male, Andres Gomez of Jersey City, NJ for one outstanding warrant issued out of Little Falls, NJ in the amount of $727 and one outstanding warrant issued out of East Rutherford, NJ in the amount of $300. Gomez was able to post bail for the involved warrants, was issued three motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.

On May 7 at 4:08 p.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 30-year-old male, Ryan Sibole of Toms River, NJ for Driving While Intoxicated [39:4-50]. Sibole was additionally charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2] and Being under the Influence of a CDS believed to be Percocet [2C:35-10B(1)]. Sibole was served his complaint summons along with his motor vehicle summons for Driving While Intoxicated and an additional three motor vehicle summonses. Sibole was subsequently released into the custody of a responsible adult.
On May 7 at 9:56 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to the area of Riverside Court on a report of a suspicious motor vehicle operating on the roadway while missing two tires. The vehicle in question was ultimately found on Mallard Place. During the investigation, the police arrested a 38-year-old female, Renu Chauhan of Secaucus, NJ for Driving While Intoxicated [39:4-50]. Chauhan was served her motor vehicle summons for Driving While Intoxicated along with an additional motor vehicle summons and was subsequently released into the custody of a responsible adult.
On May 8 at 11:32 p.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 27-year-old male, Daquann Downs of Paterson, NJ for one outstanding warrant issued out of Paramus, NJ in the amount of $500. Downs was able to post bail for the involved warrant, was issued 9 motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.
These charges are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
