Secaucus Tot Center, Senior Center Reopen May 3

The Senior and Tot Center have been closed for more than a year; they were shuttered last March when coronavirus first broke out.

SECAUCUS, NJ — In a sure sign that things are getting back to normal and coronavirus rates continue to fall, the Secaucus Tot Center and Senior Center will officially reopen Monday, May 3.

Both the Senior and Tot Center have been closed for more than a year; they were shuttered last March when the coronavirus broke out in full force.

The tot center is a free place to bring your children so they can play indoors. They are both located at 145 Front Street.

The Tot Center will be open Monday through Friday, 9 am – 11 am and 12 pm – 2 pm. They will close for one hour every day to clean the space. Masks must still be worn indoors for children older than 2 and space will be limited. So if you get there and it is crowded, you and your child may be turned away.

The Secaucus Senior Center will also reopen May 3 and will follow the same protocols, where some may be turned away if it gets too crowded inside. Bingo will resume Monday and Friday 12 pm. Please call for reservations 201-865-4422. Space will be limited.
