'The Situation' Now Selling 'I Got Jumped In Secaucus' T-Shirts
The Situation is now hawking Secaucus T-shirts after co-star Ronnie says he was jumped one night in 'The Jewel of the Meadowlands.'

SECAUCUS, NJ — "In Secaucus?!" Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino from "Jersey Shore" has turned a dubious claim from co-star Ronnie Ortiz-Magro into a t-shirt.
Yes, The Situation is now hawking T-shirts that read "Greetings from Secaucus, N.J." on his personal website, TheSituationStore.com. Sorrentino is currently in prison for tax evasion; he was sentenced to serve eight months for failing to pay taxes on $9 million in income. He is scheduled to be released from a federal prison in Otisville, New York on Sept. 12.
Nobody on "Jersey Shore" — much less the state of New Jersey — believed Ronnie when he famously said on last week's episode that he was "jumped in Secaucus." Ortiz-Magro appeared in the premiere of "Jersey Shore: Family Vacation" with a black eye and scratches, and claimed his chains were stolen and he was beat up in the tiny town that calls itself "The Jewel of the Meadowlands."

Radar Online reported that this alleged jumping happened in 2018 in the parking lot of Lorenzo's, the bar and Italian restaurant right off the Turnpike. An employee of the bar confirmed to Radar that Ortiz was there one night in 2018, but that he was not jumped or attacked in the parking lot, as he claims.
When Patch called Lorenzo's last week to ask them about it, a manager said they would not be speaking about this incident anymore and hung up the phone.

Additionally, no report was ever filed about a mugging in Lorenzo's parking lot in 2018, said Secaucus police.
"You gotta be kidding me," said Secaucus Mayor Mike Gonnelli when he heard about the t-shirts. "Nobody believes him. This town is very safe. We have no crime here. This is all BS."
"Also, Lorenzo's is delicious," Gonnelli added. "I eat there once a week."
