Saturday, March 9:
1. Winter Waterfowl Walk at Liberty State Park (Jersey City)

10 a.m. - noon Saturday Good for ages 5+
Liberty State Park is a key destination for migrating winter waterfowl. Join us for a guided walk along the river to learn about some of these winter visitors. Please dress to be outdoors and bring binoculars if you have them. We will have some binoculars available to borrow. We will begin the walk at the Park Office located at 200 Morris Pesin Drive, Jersey City, NJ 07305 and then continue around Liberty State Park. This program is appropriate for adults and families with children ages 5 and older. Children must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the program. 2. Kids Club® Tulip Time at the Michael's craft store in Secaucus
10 a.m. - 12 noon
$2 per project, ages 3+ (supplies included)
$5 per project, ages 6+ (supplies included) (there are two age groups)
They craft, you shop! Kids 3 and up can enjoy a quick project. Sign up in store or online, or just drop in. $2 per project, ages 3+, supplies included. Parent or guardian must remain on premises during the event.
3. MAKEbreak Make a "Some Bunny Loves You" Wreath at the Michael's craft store in Secaucus
1-3 p.m.
Cost: Buy the wreath base, and the supplies to decorate it will be provided (pictured above). Paint adorable wood plaques to decorate an Easter wreath. Buy the wreath base, and the supplies to decorate it will be provided.
4. Seasonal Scavenger Hunt at the Tenafly Nature Center *New and Improved*
Saturday, March 9

Sunday, March 10
1. March Guided Hike at the Cora Hartshorn Arboretum, Short Hills
Hikes leave at 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. They last about 45 minutes
Winter is a special time for the Cora Hartshorn Arboretum. Join Cora’s Conservation Corps as they guide you through the woods and show you that winter is the best time to look for signs of wildlife. Become a citizen scientist and help record important data this season.

2. Maple Sugaring at the Tenafly Nature Center
Join a TNC naturalist to learn about the history and process of Maple Sugaring. Learn how to identify a maple tree. Discover the history of syrup making and how technology has changed the way sap has been gathered over the centuries. We’ll check Tenafly Nature Center’s tapped tree and observe how sap is boiled down to make fresh maple syrup, a sweet treat for all to taste! All ages welcome. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Rain or shine. Dress warmly; the program will take place indoors and outdoors. Space is limited and pre-registration is required. No strollers please. Sessions are one hour long throughout the late winter. $5/members, $10/non-members

3. Family MAKE Week at the Michael's craft store in Secaucus
Starting on Sunday, they have a different crafting activity every day next week.
Time: 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. Sunday "Salt Painting"

4. St. Patrick's Day Dinner at St. Matthew's Evangelical Church in Secaucus
