Walk-Up North Bergen Vaccine Clinic Thursday

NORTH BERGEN, NJ — Not only is the Secaucus Walmart and Sam's Club taking walk-ins for the coronavirus vaccine, but Hudson County will operate a walk-in clinic in North Bergen as well.

The Hudson County Vaccine Task Force will offer a walk-up vaccine clinic at Braddock Park in North Bergen this Thursday, May 6.

The clinic will operate from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., or while supplies last, at the 91st Street and Bergenline Avenue entrance.

It is open to anyone who lives, works or attends school in Hudson County.

Before this, there was a walk-in clinic in Lincoln Park, Jersey City last week.

"Hudson County has seen remarkable success in our efforts to identify innovative ways to vaccinate the residents of our community,” said Hudson County Executive Tom DeGise. “The truth of the matter is that we are entering into a new phase of our vaccination efforts and have found great success in opening pop-up clinics in our county parks."

Additionally, Hudson County has hit a new milestone, with 51 percent of adult residents now having received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. This is per the latest data as of April 26.

The county-run site at the USS Juneau Center also still has appointments available on Friday for the Pfizer vaccine, which is available to anyone over 16. Anyone who lives, works or attends schools in Hudson County is encouraged to schedule an appointment today by visiting hudsoncovidvax.org.
