Capital Plans Focus of BOE Forum, Trustees Discuss SOPAC This Week

This is the last full week of school for South Orange - Maplewood School District students. Columbia High School (CHS) students have finals this week from Wed.-Fri. See thecomplete schedule here.  

The Board of Education is holding a public forum to discuss the district's future capital plans, including the possibility of building an aquatic center at CHS, on Monday at 7 p.m. at 525 Academy Street in Maplewood. Members of the public are encouraged to attend to ask questions and comment; elected officials from both towns will be present.

The forum will last just over an hour, and it will be followed by a regular BOE meeting. The agenda for the capital plan forum is here; the agenda for the board meeting is here.  

The South Orange Board of Trustees will also hold a special meeting on Monday to discuss the restructuring of the SOPAC debt.
