Explore Social Media Impact On Kids In South Orange Monday
Parents are invited to hear Lauren Muriello speak at South Mountain School.

SOUTH ORANGE, NJ - The dangers of social media usage is the topic of a program Monday night at 7:30 p.m. at South Mountain school, located at 444 West South Orange Ave.
“The Impact of Social Media on Kids” will be presented by Lauren Muriello, the Founder of Well Being Therapy Center with locations in Montville and Short Hills.
She is a licensed psychotherapist and educational speaker having presented dynamic programs on trending topics in mental health and parenting education to audiences of up to 600 people.

Muriello and her staff provide individual, family, and group therapy to children, adolescents, and couples. Muriello’s specialty has always been teen issues – including self-harm, social anxiety, and addressing how family dynamics impact adolescent development.
Previously, Muriello was Co-Director of Omega Teen Camp, a division of the Omega Institute. In this role she worked with more than 200 staff and teens to ensure the program was successful in providing a safe and supportive environment for adolescents to successfully manage life challenges. Muriello received her Bachelor’s Degree from Cornell University, and her Master’s Degree from Montclair State University.
