Former Student Accused of Seton Hall Bomb Threat

Yonkers, NY man charged with making terroristic threats.

A former student has been accused of last week's bomb threat at Seton Hall University, according to a statement issued Monday evening.

Acting Essex County Prosecutor Carolyn Murray and South Orange Police Chief James Chelel issued an arrest warrant for Dennis Mamrosz, 24, of Yonkers, N.Y., charging him with third-degree terroristic threats.

The South Orange Police Department (SOPD) received last Thursday a copy of a threatening email from a tipster, authorities said. After a building-by-building search of the campus, the Essex County Sheriff’s Department K-9 Unit found no bombs or explosives, according to Essex County Sheriff Armando Fontoura.
