How to Set Up a Student Lunch Account
South Orange and Maplewood families can pay for lunch a few ways

Even students who pack lunch need a plan for days when lunch is left behind. Elementary school students can't pay with cash, so parents have two ways to set up a lunch account for their children. Middle and high school students can use cash, but many have active accounts.
Here are the ways to pay for school lunch:
First, parents can send in a check with a tear-off from the district menu, available here. Checks should be made out to SOMBOE Cafeteria Fund.

Second, parents can set up a "EZ Lunch" account. Log onto mealpayplus.com or call 866 734-4694. There is a charge for credit card deposits.
In either case, parents can choose whether students have access to "Meal only" or general funds.
