Play Day South Orange happened this past weekend 20170919. Organized by the South Orange Village Center Alliance along with many local sponsors from in and around our towns along with the many community volunteers, it's just a great day as they say to: "Come Play In The Streets"

A Summary of the event s this year: PlayDay Main Stage (South Orange Avenue at Valley St/Scotland Rd.)1:30pm Studio 509 Groove Fit, Total Fit & Hoops 2:00pm Spa Lady: Zumba 2:45pm SOMA Rueda Cuban Salsa 3:30pm Mark Murphy’s Music Student Band 4:30pm Studio 509 Dance Performance5:00pm Maria Priadka Dance Studio 5:30pm Town Hall Deli Sloppy Joe Eating Contest Sloan Street Gazebo 1:00PM Mark Murphy’s Music 2:00PM Bufford School of Music 3:00PM South Mountain YMCA Youth Theater Program 3:30PM Mark Murphy’s Music Art Experience South Orange Country Day School (Spiotta Park) 1pm – 5:30pm:Airbrush Face Painting with Denise Hayden 3D Scanning and Lounge with the SO Public Library 1pm- 2:20pm: Puppet Making 3:00pm: Giant Puppet Parade throughout the event
