Impeach Trump Rally Set For South Orange Tuesday

The 'Impeach and Remove' rally will be at the South Orange Train Station Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.

SOUTH ORANGE, NJ — A #NotAboveTheLaw rally in support of impeaching President Donald Trump will be held at the South Orange Train Station Tuesday.

With a key vote and other impeachment proceedings expected to take place in the House of Representatives this week, supporters of impeaching Trump are planning a national day of rallies.

The rally will be held at 6:30 p.m. Nearly 400 people have signed up to attend as of Tuesday afternoon.

The rally is among several planned across New Jersey and one of more than 550 events in all 50 states Tuesday night.

"Let's show the country and the world that we believe in the rule of law, and we are organizing to save our democracy," organizers of the South Orange rally said. "Are you ready to get in the streets to scream: Impeach and Remove?"

The U.S. House Judiciary Committee passed two articles of impeachment against President Trump Friday, accusing him of abuse of power and obstruction of Congress in an attempt to rig the 2020 election. (See related: Trump Impeachment Articles Approved By House Panel)
