An enthusiastic crowd greeted Mayor Cory Booker at the 2013 North Jersey Pride Festival, held Sunday in Maplewood's Memorial Park.  Booker, who this week declared his candidacy for the U.S. Senate seat left vacant after the said he appreciated the welcome and valued the messages of tolerance that he saw throughout the event.
