Photos: Snow Falls on Floods Hill, Project Adventure, Able Baker

Back when this Patch editor was learning to be a teacher, a professor said, "The three most challenging days in the school year are picture day, Halloween, and the first snow."

How true it is that the first significant snowfall generates as much excitement as an elementary school boiler generates heat!  The snow changes everything.
