Rollin' Down the Rahway

The bike paths are busy on fine days, and the benches attract spectators of all sports played at Floods Hill. It's hard to remember when South Orange didn't have the trees, lights, signs and graceful paths along the Rahway, though the ground-breaking was just last August.

Since Monday will see the official ribbon-cutting ceremony of what's known formally as Phase 1B, Patch offers a collection of photos, a look back at the year's work on the project. Photos include the plans, the arrival and installation of the new bridge, and several spring and summer views of the Rahway.
