South Mountain Gymnasts Take on National Competition

Three girls from the South Mountain YMCA, Mae Ertl, Sophia Helmkamp and Kellyn Shuster,  qualified for the National competition in Milwaukee Wisconsin on June 30, 2012.

Unfortunately Mae was injured and couldn't go, but Sophia and Kellyn had an exciting weekend.  Although they didn't place, they had a good competition and were also able to attend Summerfest, known as "the biggest outdoor concert in the world," visit Lake Michigan and meet other gymnasts from all over the country.
