South Orange BOT Approves Parking Ordinances
The South Orange Board of Trustees passed a resolution, Monday, approving parking regulations for various roads in Tuxedo Park.

The South Orange Board of Trustees passed a resolution, Monday, amending the parking regulations on various streets in Tuxedo Park.
Parking is limited to two hours between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. with the exception of Saturdays, Sundays and holidays on Cameron Road, from Centre Street South to Kingman Road South, the entire length of Mercer and Milton Place, as well as Sinclair Street, from Centre Street South to Kingman Road South.
The amended ordinance was drafted after several parking incidents which left the community of Tuxedo Park outraged.

Complaints from residents prompted a discussion between Village and Seton Hall University officials after a rear campus gate was opened and a flood of cars filled every vacant space in the surrounding streets, back in September.
To accommodate the students, The Village Administration extended student permit parking along the Eastbound side of South Orange Avenue by a few hundred feet.

Students are also able to park on Ward Place on the campus side of the street so there are no cars in front of houses.
