South Orange Celebrated River Day

The Kludge played and locals cleaned on Sunday. The annual South Orange River Day was held around the Duck Pond, a starting point for a wide-ranging river cleanup that yielded untold pounds of refuse.

Kids, adults, Scouts, and youth groups came together to clean and to celebrate the community. Americorps volunteers taught locals about the watershed, as kids discovered invasive species right in our own backyard.
