The Department of Recreation & Cultural Affairs hires Camp Counselors each year for its Summer Camp Program (complete job description attached above). This program is a 7 week, half day program for South Orange children ages 4 through grade 8. The program begins in late June and ends in mid-August. Candidates must be at least 16 years of age, attend pre-camp counselor training and be available for the entire 7 weeks of the program. Applications (attached)  are accepted at the Baird  beginning in January each year.
