South Orange Welcomes 1st New Indian Restaurant In 5 Years
It's been five, long years, but South Orange finally has an Indian restaurant again.

SOUTH ORANGE, NJ — It’s been five years, but South Orange finally has an Indian restaurant again.
On Thursday, the South Orange Village Center (SOVC) announced that Bayleaf Indian Cuisine is officially open for business. The restaurant features a theme of “redefined Indian cuisine,” and is located at 115 South Orange Avenue in the former Neelam space.
“Bayleaf will be the first new Indian restaurant in our area in years,” the SOVC previously wrote. “They have completely renovated both the exterior and interior of the restaurant to the point where it is unrecognizable from the space it used to be.”
