Thank You South Orange New Jersey Fire Chief Jeff Markey for Your Years of Service

Just wanted to give a big thank you and a shout out to Fire Chief Jeff Markey.

I would like to thank him for all he has done for our community. He was always a welcome site in front of the South Orange NJ Firehouse, the place that signifies safety, calmness and longevity. 

As he had a long career, it was always a pleasure to stop by the firehouse and see Chief Markey out front. He was always pleasant and great to have a conversation with and at the same time he would let you know whats new in the Firehouse, things to be safe about and in town. 

During the many times I sought him out to help or to supply advice on some community event or the other that needed his help, he was always quick with a solution and extremely helpful.

As we all know being a firemen requires extreme dedication to a selfless cause, Fire Chief Jeff Markey, may you have a great retirement and enjoy your retirement my friend, you earned it and you deserve it.
