The Library Rocks with Ms. Marilyn and Mr. Gray
Kids shine at Family Night led in song by two veteran volunteers
The South Orange Public Library hosted a Mon. evening Family Night. Ms. Marilyn and Mr. Gray headlined the event, but they shared the stage with numerous children in the audience.
"It's so wonderful to share our love of music with these children," said Ms. Marilyn, known to Patch readers as Marilyn Lehren. She considered her fellow performers. "Hanks first began coming to the SO library at age 8 mos.; Cosmo and Kiera were preschoolers," said Lehren. "Mr. Gray and I have been volunteering at the library for -- well we say 1o0 years -- but our first preschool group are now middle schoolers. It was so much fun to share the 'stage' with these all-stars. These young musicians are my superheroes."
