The Nate Berkus Show (and Chair) Came to Town
The production team of a new television show asked residents about design dilemmas
The Nate Berkus Show, which debuted on Monday, took it on the road on Thursday. Members of "Team Nate," wearing white t-shirts, and others from the production crew set up the chair used on the set and invited passersby to sit and chat about their design dilemmas. The clips will be edited and may be used on the show in the future.
Nate Berkus is an interior designer who has been a regular guest on The Oprah Winfrey Show. However, the Nate Berkus Show is not limited to design. Earlier this week, Dolly Parton guest-starred, and coming features offers tips on packing wisely for a trip. However, the focus is home, with guides to finding "attic treasures" and buying second-hand goods strategically. With the local wealth of rummage sales and antique stores, one passerby hoped aloud that Berkus and his team would soon return for a secondhand "treasure hunt."
