Tim Gunn Tickets Selling Fast

Project Runway star looks to sell out CHS auditorium for school playground fundraiser.

It's a "make it work" moment for Seth Boyden School, as tickets are selling briskly for the second show in the Seth Boyden Series: A Conversation with Culture.

The show — taking place Sunday, March 17 at Columbia High School — features Project Runway’s Tim Gunn in conversation with NY1-TV reporter and South Orange resident Budd Mishkin live on stage.

If you don't know Gunn, he is the sartorially splendid, fastidiously fashionable sidekick to supermodel and producer Heidi Klum on the Lifetime hit show Project Runway.

He is also the Fashion Dean at Fifth & Pacific Inc (formerly Liz Claiborne Inc).
Prior to joining Fifth & Pacific Inc., Gunn served as a member of the administration and faculty at Parsons School of Design for 24 years.

Gunn gives a good deal of his time to charitable organizations, including the National Domestic Violence Hotline, GMHC, the Hetrick-Martin Institute, Bailey House, and the Human Rights Campaign.

The Seth Boyden Series was created to raise funds in support of a new playground and Outdoor Learning Center at the Seth Boyden Demonstration School in the Maplewood/South Orange NJ School District. The previous Seth Boyden Series event with Ira Glass of This American Life played to a sold-out house and rave reviews from locals. The school at a recent gala auction event at Orange Lawn Tennis Club in South Orange.
