Tuesday will see a debate among the candidates for Village Trustee.  The .

Sponsored by the Maplewood/South Orange League of Women Voters, the debate will provide an opportunity for the candidates to present their positions on issues of importance to South Orange residents. Attendees will be invited to submit their own questions for the candidates as well.

South Orange elections are non-partisan, and there are no official "tickets" on the ballot. Seven candidates will be competing for three open Trustee seats in the election, which is scheduled for May 14.

Elementary and secondary school report cards are mailed Monday. In addition, the seventh and eighth graders are testing this week and will have a four-hour day, Monday through Thursday.
