Trustees Declare June 28 "Lynn M. Cucciniello Day"
A Board proclamation recognizes retiring Acting Village Clerk

Monday night's Board of Trustees began with an item that didn't appear on the agenda: Village President Douglas Newman read aloud a proclamation honoring Lynn Cucciniello, Acting Village Clerk, who after more than 24 years of service to the Village. According the proclamation, June 28, 2010 is "Lynn Cucciniello Day" in South Orange.
From the speaker podium, Newman noted that Cucciniello is a 39-year resident of South Orange who "set a true example of professionalism." Cucciniello received a standing ovation from Trustees and attendees before the meeting returned to its scheduled agenda.
Robin Kline, who will become Village Clerk on July 1, was in attendance and spoke briefly to the Trustees and members of the public.
