This week's big stories considered the pending legal action against the South Orange – Maplewood school district initiated by the local unit of the NAACP. The pending civil suit alleges discrimination in the district's "tracking" policy. We looked at the numbers to find out more.
It was a hot week, for sure, especially in the arts world. Tap came to SOPAC, and JerseyTapFest organizer taught your humble editor to dance. We saw Elvis at SHU, and Ms. Marilyn and Mr. Gray rocked the younger set at the library.
The Trustees met and updated us on Beifus, among other business. And speaking of business, Ben Salmon told us what we'll be eating and drinking months down the road.
