Two Robbed at Gunpoint Sunday, Police Say

Two people were robbed at gunpoint, Sunday, while walking on Valley Street, police said.

A Robbinsville resident and his friend told police that around 1:22 a.m. they were robbed at gunpoint by three black men.

According to a police report, the men got out of a dark mini van near Ora Manor, pointed a gun at the pedestrians and demanded their money.

The three men took their cell phones and jewelry before fleeing South on Valley Street.

The men were described as black males in their late teens, police said.

The Detective Bureau is investigating the incident.
