Week in Review

We said farewell to summer this week and greeted fall with shopping, in the garden, and in the kitchen. We dodged Earl and saw businesses move up and down South Orange Avenue.

As a school community, we said farewell to teacher Carolyn Johnson. We greeted the news of "teacher letters" with excitement.

On the food front, we tried Labor Day recipes, pizza from the Reservoir, and welcomed Yama Sushi to South Orange.

We went out to the Newark Bears ballgame and previewed the CHS girls soccer team.

Around town, we looked below the surface of our streets and learned more about the Village settlement.

As the new week begins, we greet the school year and 5771 with plentiful coverage of both events. Come back often for what's happening around town and keep in touch.
