Bandit Is Springfield's Pet Of The Week

SPRINGFIELD, NJ — Meet Bandit! She has been chosen as Springfield Patch's Pet Of The Week.

"Bandit is a rare silver and black coated German Shepard. She has been a loyal member of the Oliva family for 12 years, although she passed a week ago her playful, loving spirit is still well alive. Bandit had a love for her cookies and a love for the mountains hiking with her family! She was the most loving dog you would have ever met."

Do you think your pet should be Springfield's Pet of the Week?

Participating in the Pet of the Week happenings is simple: submit your nomination by emailing alexis.tarrazi@patch.com with subject line "Springfield Pet Of The Week." Be sure to include a photograph or two of your pet, a paragraph about what makes him or her so great, and the town you're from.

You can choose to include your name, but you don't need to. Then just keep an eye out for a photo of your pet on the Patch!

The photo can be of a present pet, or it can be a baby picture of the adult pet you're so proud of today. All photos must be property of the submitter.
