Brinkley Is Springfield's Pet Of The Week

SPRINGFIELD, NJ — Meet Brinkley! He has been chosen as Springfield Patch's Pet Of The Week.

"Brinkley is our three year old Golden/Labrador Retriever mix. He was a rescue dog who was flown here from Puerto Rico along with many other dogs, we adopted him from a shelter here in New Jersey and we have loved and adored him from the moment we met him. He is very sweet and he brings much love and joy to our family each and every day, we are very fortunate to have him."

Participating in the Pet of the Week happenings is simple: submit your nomination by emailing alexis.tarrazi@patch.com. Be sure to include a photograph or two of your pet, a paragraph about what makes him or her so great, and the part of town you're from. You can choose to include your name, but you don't need to. Then just keep an eye out for a photo of your pet on the Patch!

The photo can be of a present pet, or it can be a baby picture of the adult pet you're so proud of today.
