SPRINGFIELD, NJ — The American Red Cross is urging eligible donors to give the gift of more life by giving blood this December. Blood drives will be held locally in Union County including in Springfield.
In December, donations decline but the needs of patients remain steady. To encourage donations, all those who come to give blood or platelets from Dec. 21 through Jan. 7 will receive a long-sleeved Red Cross T-shirt, while supplies last.
