Holiday Spectacular, 'Music Man, Jr.' Happening in Springfield This Week
The 'Senior Wing' of the Chisholm Center will celebrate its grand opening Thursday.

Springfield will celebrate its annual tree lighting and holiday spectacular Tuesday. Festivities begin at 4:30 p.m. at Town Hall. Residents are invited to enjoy caroling with local singing groups. Other holiday treats include:Â
- Special visit and pictures with SANTA CLAUS
- HOLIDAY HAY RIDESÂ
- PETTING ZOOÂ
- EDIBLE CRAFTSÂ
The It Girls of Comedy Tour with will be held at Scotty's Comedy Cove Thursday.Â
Doors open at 7 p.m. and the show starts at 8 p.m. Tickets are $10 with a reservation and $15 at the door.
Florence M. Gaudineer presents 'The Music Man, Jr.' Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. at Halsey Hall Auditorium at Jonathan Dayton High School. Tickets are available at the door, starting at 6:30 p.m. The JDHS Spring Musical will be announced following the performance. JDHS musical auditions begin Tuesday, December 17. Packets can be obtained from Mrs. Bauers.
