Out of the 508 towns in the Garden State, Springfield comes in at number 245.

The list compiled by njfamily.com "measured each municipality against a host of important factors, including school district quality, crime rates, affordability, commute times, percentage of families who live there, access to hospitals and general lifestyle factors."

New Providence took the highest spot out of Union County towns at number 39. Oradell in Bergen County took the number one spot.
