Lunchtime Film Series at Springfield Public Library on August 3rd
Monday, August 3rd at 1 pm the "Robin Williams Retrospective" series continues, Springfield Free Public Library, 66 Mountain Ave.
Based on a true story by neurologist Oliver Sacks, Williams plays a doctor in a Bronx psychiatric hospital circa 1969 who gets amazing results helping catatonic patients through painstaking treatment and guidance. Robert DeNiro plays Mr. Williams’ first and most challenging patient. The film also stars Julie Kavner and John Heard. Directed by Penny Marshall. Rated PG-13. 121 minutes.Â
