Mental Health Association in NJ Announces 75th Anniversary Gala

Honoring NJ Leaders in Behavioral Health

The Mental Health Association in New Jersey (MHANJ) will be hosting its 75th Anniversary Gala on Wednesday, December 4, 2019, at The Park Savoy Estates in Florham Park, New Jersey. The event will include recognition of outstanding New Jersey leaders who have made a significant impact on the lives of those with behavioral health disorders. It will feature a cocktail hour and dinner, program, music, dancing and raffles. Proceeds will be directed to support the MHANJ’s advocacy and services work.

Honorees will include:

  • Jennifer G. Velez, Executive Vice President, Community and Behavioral Health for RWJBarnabas Health, and former Commissioner of the New Jersey Department of Human Services, for her invaluable contributions to improving behavioral health care in New Jersey
  • Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson for their commitment to research and development of medications that help people with mental illness and their long-standing support of the MHANJ
  • Carolyn Beauchamp, President and CEO of the Mental Health Association in New Jersey, for her vision, dedication and leadership for over 35 years
