No Surprises In Springfield Township Council Primary 2021

There were only two Republican and two Democratic candidates running for the two seats open in the Springfield Township Council primary.

SPRINGFIELD, NJ — Republican candidates David Salcfas and Cindy Salcfas, and Democratic candidates Chris Weber and Alexander Keiser won their party nominations for Township Council, according to unofficial results.

There are no surprises, as they were the only candidates running.

David Salcfas and Cindy Salcfas got 435 and 436 votes respectively, and Weber and Keiser got 725 and 702 votes respectively.

  • Elizabeth A. Graner: 6,809
  • Anjali Mehrotra: 6,633

State Senate (Republican)

  • John Bramnick: 5,559

State Senate (Democrat)

  • Joseph Signorello III: 6,814

41,554 ballots were cast in Somerset County, representing a voter turnout of 11.74 percent.
