SPRINGFIELD, NJ — Meet Minnie! She has been chosen as Patch's Pet Of The Week. Nominate your pet for Springfield's Pet of the Week!

"Hi! My name is Minnie. My owners say I have a 'ruff' life! I get to eat, sleep, and play all day long with my toys. I just think they’re just jealous.

I love going for walks around my neighborhood in Cranford and meeting new friends along the way. My mom says I am the social butterfly of the neighborhood.

At night, I love to cuddle up on the couch under my blanket and dream of all my favorite dog treats."

Do you think your pet should be Springfield's Pet of the Week?

Participating in the Pet of the Week happenings is simple: submit your nomination by emailing alexis.tarrazi@patch.com with subject line "Springfield Pet Of The Week." Be sure to include a photograph or two of your pet, a paragraph about what makes him or her so great, and the town you're from.

You can choose to include your name, but you don't need to. Then just keep an eye out for a photo of your pet on the Patch!

The photo can be of a present pet, or it can be a baby picture of the adult pet you're so proud of today. All photos must be property of the submitter.
