PAINTINGS BY THE LATE SALVATORE PANTOZZI

Salvatore Pantozzi was an army veteran who served his country in the World War II, and who studied art by mail at the International Correspondence School. As a result of persistent war trauma he was restricted to paint street scenes that who could see from the windows of his apartment in Jersey City. Instead of giving to despair, Pantozzi throw himself into his art, working mostly in pastels, oils, crayon and corrugated cardboard. The exhibition of his work is a tribute to him by his family.
